By coincidence. At the end of 2018, the business ended here, so my husband and I agreed to go into something that I enjoyed. We live right in the house above the shop, so my work in the workshop can be combined well with family care.
I used to help my friend with the design and realization of interior design because I have long been involved in furniture and art restoration. Most of them were ideas that our clients invented and we were led to perfection. The first thought was that I would be restoring and selling furniture here in the workshop. Decoupage products such as decorative bowls, plates or vases were gradually added to the restoration. In short, I wanted to have a space where I would create and at the same time I could pass on what I could.
Most often I run creative courses here and usually lead them myself. I try to organize a workshop even for very young children, who after taking the course bring home beautiful full-value products. Then I organize regular courses of decoupage and upholstery. The workshop is suitable for smaller groups of up to eight participants who want to make something themselves or are interested in renting an unconventional yet very cozy space. I would like my workshop to be maximally used for various creative events and workshops.
I find it most difficult to find agreement with a client on the price of the rental, but since I am still here in the beginning, I am willing to discuss the price of the rental with the clients.
