U Kazdů House has a rich history. The apartment building serial number 176 was originally built in 1836 and was then reconstructed by the architect Kazda. The house got new attic spaces, a ground-floor Pilsen restaurant, a beer hall, a dance hall, and later the first Prague chicken grill. During the period of the First Republic, it became a popular object of Prague artists, bohemians and snobs.

The onset of the totalitarian regime then caused serious damage. These were corrected only as part of the overall reconstruction and modernization between 2011-2015. Furthermore, the attic addition of a completely new maisonette apartment and the entrance from the porch of the 3rd floor of the house, according to the design of the architect Mr. Škůrk.

Now the U Kazdů house is a part of the heritage zone and bears the hallmark of one of the nicest and most sought-after houses for living or business in its locality.
