Rare medieval house on Old Town Square
Right in the center of Prague, in the Old Town Square is a rare medieval burgher house from the second half of the 13th century, which captures the visitor's vista with a richly decorated facade which was revealed by the removal of the Baroque facade during the last major reconstruction of the house. In 1961, the house underwent extensive archaeological and structural research, and the subsequent reconstruction in 1972-1987 returned the house to its original Gothic form. The House of Stone Bell belongs to the Gallery of the City of Prague. The gallery offers the possibility to rent space on the third floor of the building, in the Concert Hall. The premises are suitable for wedding ceremonies, concerts and smaller social events - gala dinners and conferences. Social events take place in the Concert Hall of the 13th century, whose period atmosphere is enhanced by typical Gothic elements, especially the windows with a curved arch pointing directly to Old Town Square. Spaces are rented in hourly rate mode, and adjacent spaces, such as kitchens and dressing rooms, can be used as part of the event. The concert hall, which is particularly suitable for concerts, conferences and gala dinners, has an area of 100 m2. The maximum possible capacity for the theatrical arrangement is 90 persons, for a gala dinner or a raut is a capacity of 70 people.
