The sanctuary of the Czech winery in the former Gothic castle

The former Gothic castle is a pearl of the royal town of Litoměřice. It is located right in its historical heart, just a few dozen meters from Peace Square. A reconstructed 14th-century building was inaugurated on March 4, 2011. It was thanks to a subsidy from the Northwest Regional Operational Program. Litoměřice received CZK 137.8 million from it, and another 28 million crowns represented the city's own share. The heart of the castle is a modern exposition, which is a tourist attraction not only for lovers of good wine. Guests can also visit the wine tasting areas with original stone pavement and arched ceilings following the cellar spaces where the wine archive is located. Thanks to the castle, Litoměřice becomes the center of congress tourism. It offers a modern conference hall with preserved Gothic artifacts. Attractive rooms also offer a lounge connected with the historical monument of a chapel from the 14th century, in which, according to preserved historical sources, Charles IV was praying. Part of the castle is a stylish Castle Winery with access from Na Valech Street. Thanks to the modern conference hall of Litoměřice, they are also conscious as a center of congress tourism. It features a modernly equipped conference room for 180 people with preserved Gothic artefacts and an interesting vista to the ceiling of the building. The spaces that are barrier-free dominate the original Gothic windows. Part of the window niches is used as a seat. Attractive spaces make it possible to organize congresses, conferences, exhibitions, company presentations, corporate events, receptions, concerts, fashion shows or wedding ceremonies. The hall has all the modern technology (canvas, projector, translation booths, videoconferencing facilities, etc.). Free WI-FI connection is included in the rental. Capacity for theater casting is up to 170 people. Variable furniture allows several options for seating arrangements. A podium of 3.9 mx 3 m is available. If the capacity of the representative spaces is not enough, the organizers of the event can also use the services of a neighboring house of culture with a hall capacity of 660 seats. The castle is connected with the cultural house.
