When Count Oktavián Kinský had the Liverpool Hotel built in Chlumec nad Cidlinou in 1878, it quickly became a vibrant center of entertainment, cultural and social experiences in the wider area. However, under the previous regime, the once magnificent halls were filled with sacks of grain, the rooms became warehouses, and its glory was irretrievably extinguished. However, we have not forgotten the legacy and vision of our ancestor. Thanks to a demanding reconstruction, we have transformed the historic buildings of the former Kinské riding school in the castle grounds into multifunctional spaces of the 21st century, perfect for any event.

The time has come to return a representative place that breathes experiences to Chlumka.

The demanding reconstruction of the building in the years 2020-2023 enabled the spaces to be made available and the creation of new exhibition attractions for the general public. Part of the Riding Center is also a thematic exhibition mapping the birth and fame of the local breeding gem – Kinski Horses. At the same time, multifunctional and exhibition spaces work simultaneously and build a bridge between history, living culture and society.

The Kinski Riding School, an unmissable building in the castle grounds, served as a riding school since its inception in the 18th century. For the count's family, it was an important place for meeting and training horses in the art of dressage. Although the fame of the Riding School faded during the previous regime - it was used as a warehouse - the legacy of the Kinský family lived on. After a demanding reconstruction in the years 2019–2023, this space shone in all its beauty and is currently a cultural-social center with many possibilities of use for private, cultural and social events. The spacious space, lit by large baroque-style windows in stone walls, is complemented by modern technology and functional facilities. Strategically located Equestrian Center in the center of Chlumec nad Cidlinou, surrounded by the castle park, offers a fresh environment for your events. Generous spaces equipped with Wi-Fi, powerful projection and sound technology will meet the demanding requirements of the organizers and guarantee the comfort of the participants.
