An eye on the Prague embankment. Newly renovated dungeon space respecting the principles of sustainability
LAb is a newly reconstructed cell on the Prague embankment. The author of the revitalization of the Prague Embankment is the architect Petr Janda and his studio Brainwork, which is one of the finalists of the Architect of the Year 2020 award. The place is suitable for business meetings, press and other conferences, interactive events, as well as for parties and celebrations.
The variable control of the dominant glass lens allows the border between the interior and the exterior to be canceled when fully opened. The inner space of the cell can thus be extended by an outdoor occupation on the Prague embankment, which includes seating with parasols, an outdoor bar and a barbecue. In an instant, your event can turn into an informal barbecue with a summer drink on the river bank.
Year-round operation is possible thanks to underfloor heating and infrared radiators, the window can be closed and switch to automatic mode with a sensor. The space is a great place for Christmas and New Year parties overlooking the winter city.
LAb is a zero waste bistro & amp; bar with sustainability concept. We focus on operations and supply, which prioritizes the principles of circular economy, packaging management, we support local suppliers, we use mainly seasonal foods, we emphasize our own, domestic products.
In cooperation with our colleagues and the background of the partner space swim, we will be happy to provide custom catering, including a bar menu, welcome or signature drink. The modern and fully equipped bar also includes a La Marzocco lever coffee machine, an ice maker and a taproom.
We look forward to you! Team LAb
