A modern cultural center in the former railway station
Moving Station is an inspirational place in an impressively revitalized cultural monument, an open space for contemporary art, education, entertainment and your projects. Moving Station is a distinct alternative Pilsen scene for contemporary theater, dance and interdisciplinary artistic experiments, which has been hosting artists from around the world since 2000. The Moving Station is a convenient place to hold your conferences, corporate events, festivals, lectures, performances, concerts, exhibitions, vernissage, film screenings, friendly or artistic meetings, weddings and celebrations. The abandoned dilapidated part of the Pilsen Railway Station of the Southern Suburbs became a modern cultural and educational center during 2015. The Art Nouveau building from 1904, threatened by demolition, is now an example of a good and functional reconstruction of a cultural monument. Today there is a modern variable hall with a capacity of 120 spectators, a studio scene for 60 spectators, studios and exhibition spaces. The Moving Station is also a suitable venue for holding conferences, corporate events, festivals, lectures, performances, concerts, exhibitions, vernissage, film screenings, friendly or artistic meetings, weddings and celebrations.
