Renaissance historical Great Hall of the New Town Hall
The Renaissance Historic Large Hall with a wooden ceiling and wall paintings from the 16th century is the largest room at the New Town Hall on the 1st floor of the Eastern Wing, where concerts, conferences, gala dinners, banquets and other cultural events take place. The floor is wooden, polished. There are four large windows on the south wall (it can be darkened). There are remnants of wall paintings on the walls, dating back to the 16th century. On the eastern wall there is access to the adjacent chapel and the tower. There are three columns in the middle of the hall. Due to the historic character of the Grand Hall, it is not possible to place anything on the walls. Lighting is done by halogen bulbs in the ceiling + 4 halogens on the west side (on the stage). The conference needs to be lit. The hall is heated by underfloor heating. You can use the main staircase from the entrance or the side spiral staircase for access. The front floor has a granite polished floor. It is possible to use the cloakroom on the ground floor with a capacity of 270 people.
