Completely renovated Neo-Renaissance pavilion at the Prague Exhibition Centre.
Inquire venueThe neo-Renaissance pavilion of the Bohemia restaurant, or Petzold's restaurant, was already built during the Jubilee National Exhibition in 1891, and is therefore one of the oldest buildings on the Exhibition grounds. The pavilion was originally used for the presentation of the Plzeň Brewery.
It is said that the first tenant of the restaurant in 1891 was the hotelier and restaurateur Václav Petzold, under whose name the restaurant pavilion is listed in the list of monuments. Despite the neglected maintenance and the interrupted tradition of use during the second half of the 20th century, the building has survived to the present day in almost its original condition, although it has lost authentic equipment and many details. It was structurally and technically damaged. In the past two years, Bohemia has undergone a complete reconstruction, which was completed in November 2022.
