Roudnice Castle

Magnificent baroque castle Roudnice with more than 200 rooms.

Approximately 50 km north of Prague, above the Elbe River, in the historic part of the town of Roudnice nad Labem, there is a majestic baroque castle that served as the main princely and later ducal residence of the Lobkowicz family. Concerts, gastronomic events, festivals and theater performances take place here regularly. The building is also often sought after by both Czech and foreign film productions.

Explore the cellars of the castle winery or the beautiful chapel, which boasts stunning frescoes from the 17th century. You can then end the day with a tasting of our award-winning wines. Wine has been grown in a nearby family vineyard since 1603. Today, the winery produces wines of the highest quality, many of which have won numerous awards.

Spaces can be rented for events, weddings, festivals, theater performances and filming. By prior arrangement, a tour of historic wine cellars and wine tasting can be booked.
