Gothic column hall of the New Town Hall

Entrance Gothic column hall with vault Mázhaus is the largest non-sacred space of the highest Gothic in Bohemia, which has been preserved. It is located on the ground floor of the south wing. There are press conferences, seminars, coffebreaks, banquets, vernissage of some exhibitions, etc. Besides Mázhauz, there is a Konšelský lounge with an original wooden painted ceiling equipped with historical furniture. The floor is sandstone, the ceiling is arched, the rest of the drawings are preserved on the walls. In the middle of the room are two columns. The lighting is designed with wall halogen lamps. In the east wall is the entrance to the tower, on the north side there is a stairway leading to the basement. Access is from the courtyard or Charles Square. It is possible to use the cloakroom on the ground floor with a capacity of 270 people.
