Amazingly renovated building of the former coal mill
Industrial premises Coal mill
The brick building of the Coal Mill with large industrial windows dates back to the 1930s. With the reconstruction of the building, architect Patrik Hoffman began the conversion of the wider context of the industrial site. The adjoining Kotelna building now offers a fully functional event space designed for one-off rentals, which Uhelný mlýn sometimes complements, but its primary function is a contemporary art gallery and a design showroom. The filmmakers like to use it for filming.
